Plaintiffs Drop Accutane Suits Booted From Philly Tort System

Law360, New York (December 12, 2012, 9:10 PM EST) -- A group of plaintiffs dropped their personal injury suits against Hoffmann-LaRoche Inc. over the acne treatment Accutane from Philadelphia court on Wednesday, months after a groundbreaking ruling removed them from the city's mass tort system.

Plaintiffs in the 20 suits that once made up the Accutane mass tort filed stipulations of dismissal alongside Roche and fellow defendant Wolters Kluwer Health Inc., a publishing company. They have 30 days to refile the actions in other courts.
