Radiologist Sues Boston Scientific Over Stent Patent

Law360 (September 12, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medical device maker Boston Scientific has been sued in district court by a radiologist from Miami for patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition.

The complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleges a product of Boston Scientific’s Vascular division is closely related to two patents for less invasive heart surgery technology, held by Dr. Shaun Samuels.
