Con Ed, PGW Lose Transco Rate Plan Challenge At FERC

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 8:20 PM EST) -- A Federal Energy Regulatory Commission judge on Thursday refused to reconsider Consolidated Edison of New York Inc. and Philadelphia Gas Works' challenge to a Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC proposal to create reduced natural gas shipping rates for several of its expansion projects.

Administrative Law Judge Steven A. Glazer said the case needed more factual development, rendering the utilities' request for a court order requiring Transco to submit a compliance filing proposing just and reasonable rates for its expansion services inappropriate.
