Rambus, PwC Off Hook In Securities Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 11:00 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Friday affirmed a lower court's dismissal of securities fraud claims against tech company Rambus Inc. and its outside auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, agreeing that state claims had already been dismissed in federal court.

The appellate panel rebuffed the arguments by shareholders James M. Kelley, Douglass Kelley and Miki Larsson, who had argued that their state court complaint added additional claims not in their federal court complaint, including certain insider trading allegations.
