American Realty Capital Trusts To Merge In $2.2B Deal

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 1:36 PM EST) -- American Realty Capital Properties Inc. and American Realty Capital Trust III Inc. plan to merge and create a combined real estate investment in a deal valued at $2.2 billion, the parties announced Monday.

ARCP will buy all of ARCT III's outstanding shares, exchanging them for ARCP shares at an exchange ratio of about $12.26 per share, the parties said in a statement.
