Commerce OKs Duties On Chinese, Vietnamese Wind Towers

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 5:33 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce gave its blessing Tuesday to duties on Chinese and Vietnamese utility-scale wind towers, sending the proposed trade measures to the U.S. International Trade Commission for final approval.

Commerce affirmed its previous determinations that Chinese and Vietnamese exporters sold their towers at below-market prices in the U.S. and that the Chinese government provided unfair subsidies to its wind industry.
