SEC Names New Heads Of Trading, Corp. Finance Units

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 9:50 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday appointed a former Shearman & Sterling LLP capital markets partner and a former Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP attorney as new acting directors for its corporation finance unit and trading and markets division, respectively.

Shearman & Sterling's Lona Nallengara will take over for Meredith Cross, while John Ramsay, who previously worked at the SEC more than two decades ago as counsel to then-commissioner Mary Schapiro, will replace Robert Cook, according to the regulator.
