Commerce Issues Final Duties For Mexican, Korean Washers

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 5:49 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Wednesday that large washing machines from Mexico and South Korea should face dumping duties as high as 72 percent and 82 percent, respectively, clearing a path for anti-dumping orders to potentially be issued in February.     

The Commerce Department issued affirmative final determinations in anti-dumping and countervailing duty probes on large residential washers from Korea, as well as an anti-dumping probe on the Mexican machines.
