Calif. Bill Would Force Nonprofits To Name Campaign Donors

Law360, San Diego (December 19, 2012, 2:26 PM EST) -- Following a nonprofit's $11 million contribution to a group opposing the California governor’s successful tax hike initiative, state lawmakers on Wednesday finalized language for legislation requiring nonprofits that give a political campaign committee $100,000 or more a year to name all donors who contributed to the expenditure.
