Pa. Court Says PECO Must Provide Proper Street Lighting

Law360, Philadelphia (December 21, 2012, 6:10 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled in an opinion published Thursday that PECO Energy Co., an Exelon subsidiary that provides electrical service in Pennsylvania, has a greater responsibility than simply providing electrical service and changing the light bulbs in its street lamps, reinstating a negligence suit against the utility.
