Commerce OKs Duties On Vietnamese Wire Hangers

Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 2:57 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday came out in favor of both countervailing and anti-dumping duties on Vietnamese wire hangers, sending the proposed trade measures to the U.S. International Trade Commission for final approval.

Commerce's International Trade Administration affirmed its previous joint determinations that the Vietnamese government had unfairly subsidized exporters of sold steel wire clothes hangers and that the hangers were sold at less than fair value in the U.S.
