Judge Approves More Ovcon 35 Settlements

Law360, New York (November 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has approved a pair of agreements in which Warner Chilcott Ltd. and Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. will pay $12.5 million to settle antitrust litigation brought by indirect purchasers of the oral contraceptive Ovcon 35.

Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia signed off on a consumer class settlement Thursday, overruling the one objection that came in among the estimated 2 million class members.
