Clearlake Closes PE Fund With $785M In Commitments

Law360, New York (January 3, 2013, 5:33 PM EST) -- Clearlake Capital Group has closed its third private equity fund with more than $785 million in equity commitments, the California investment firm said Thursday, clearing its initial target of $600 million and setting the stage for the firm’s next wave of investments.

With its latest fund, Clearlake has $1.4 billion in capital under management, earmarked for situational buyouts, carve-outs and other acquisitions of companies in a range of industries undergoing operational and structural change.
