Cleary Gottlieb Blasts Subpoena In $1.4B Argentina Debt Suit

Law360, New York (January 3, 2013, 3:08 PM EST) -- Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP on Wednesday asked a New York federal judge to quash a subpoena served on it by several private equity-backed bondholders in a $1.4 billion Argentine debt default suit, saying allegations of a scheme to avoid a judgment in the case were baseless.
