NY Bill Would Place Warnings On Skateboards, Inline Skates

Law360, New York (January 4, 2013, 6:13 PM EST) -- Retailers across the Empire State would be required to post conspicuous warning labels telling buyers of skateboards and inline skates to don protective gear before using the toys under legislation introduced by Bronx Democratic Sen. Ruben Diaz.

The legislation, parked in the State Senate's Committee on Consumer Protection, will be waiting for lawmakers upon their return to the state capital Jan. 9.
