J&J, Boston Scientific Sued Over Stent Patent

Law360, New York (November 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Inventor W. Henry Wall has filed suit against Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific Corp., claiming their cardiovascular stents infringe one of his patents.

On Friday, patent holding company Wall Cardiovascular Technologies LLC filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging that stents manufactured and sold by BSC and J&J subsidiary Cordis Corp. infringe on a patent Wall invented in 1984.
