Ex-SAC Manager Denies Role In $276M Insider Trading Plot

Law360, New York (January 3, 2013, 1:56 PM EST) -- Former SAC Capital Advisors LP portfolio manager Mathew Martoma pled not guilty Thursday in New York federal court to fraud charges stemming from an alleged $276 million insider trading scheme at the major hedge fund.

Martoma pled not guilty to two counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy at his arraignment before U.S. District Judge Paul G. Gardephe.
