Energy Waste Co. Indicted For Environmental Crimes

Law360, New York (November 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted a Texas company and two of its top executives over a scheme to dump hazardous waste in contravention of federal environmental laws.

The company, Texas Oil and Gathering Inc., along with its president, John Kessel, and operations manager Edgar Pettijohn, were charged Friday over the conspiracy to illegally dispose of dangerous waste at facilities approved to take only oil and gas production waste.
