9th Circ. Affirms Ex-Bank Of China Manager RICO Convictions

Law360, Washington (January 4, 2013, 2:42 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit decided Thursday to uphold the racketeering and money laundering convictions of two former Bank of China managers and their wives, saying foreign racketeering activity can justify U.S. convictions, but the same evidence can't be considered for restitution and sentencing.
