Former NY County Judge Rejoins Kase & Druker As Partner

Law360, New York (January 4, 2013, 2:37 PM EST) -- John L. Kase on Wednesday rejoined Kase & Druker, the criminal defense law firm he co-founded over 34 years ago, following his December retirement as the supervising judge of the criminal courts in Nassau County, N.Y., the firm announced.

Kase, who stepped down from the bench Dec. 31 at age 70 due to New York's mandatory retirement law, told Law360 that his daughter Elizabeth Kase, who is a partner at the firm, influenced his return to private practice.
