More Internet Users Paying for Music Downloads: Survey

Law360, New York (November 21, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- A sharp increase in the number of internet users who are paying to download music signals a remarkable shift in behavior, a survey conducted by market researcher Ipsos-Insight suggests.

Although most of the internet users who are downloading music are still evading fees, the number of downloaders that have paid for music has doubled in less than a year, the study found.
