Asbestos Adviser Under Fraud Probe Files For Ch. 11

Law360 (November 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A consulting firm that has been under federal investigation for alleged fraudulent billing practices in asbestos-related bankruptcies has filed for Chapter 11.

L. Tersigni Consulting CPA PC filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 14 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut. The filing came a day after Delaware bankruptcy court Judge Judith K. Fitzgerald granted the United States Trustee's motion to appoint an examiner in the Federal-Mogul Global Inc. bankruptcy and other cases.
