T-Mobile Blocked From Selling IPhones In Germany

Law360 (November 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Vodafone Group PLC has won a restraining order from a German court against rival Deutsche Telekom AG, blocking the German telecommunications company from selling Apple Inc.'s iPhone in Germany.

The restraining order was issued by a local court in Hamburg, Germany, according to the German newspaper Die Welt. Vodafone wants to have T-Mobile's sales practices related to the iPhone examined by the courts.

In Germany, Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile subsidiary is the exclusive carrier of Apple's iPhone, similar to a deal Apple has in the United States...
