CORRECTED: BP Can Film Chu In Deepwater Deposition, Judge Says

Law360, New York (January 9, 2013, 6:49 PM EST) -- U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will face questions and cameras when he is deposed later this month in litigation over the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster, a federal judge said Wednesday.

The federal government had requested that the deposition not be videotaped in order to eliminate the need to bring video equipment into the Energy Department building and avoid security issues. BP PLC opposed the request.
