Warehouser's Suit Against Hinckley Allen Withdrawn

Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 3:46 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Wednesday signed off on a plaintiff's motion to dismiss a suit against Hinckley Allen & Snyder LLP, which was accused of failing to inform a client of a conflict of interest when it represented him in an underlying suit over the sale of a Massachusetts warehouse.

At a pretrial conference in November, U.S. District Judge Steven J. McAuliffe indicated that he did not have jurisdiction over the suit, which did not raise an issue of federal law, and so the plaintiff opted...
