USPTO To Review Garmin Rival's Patent Under AIA

Law360, New York (January 10, 2013, 6:02 PM EST) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday partly granted Garmin International Inc.'s request for inter partes review of a rival's patent for technology that gives drivers speed limit warnings, likely the first time such a request has been granted under the America Invents Act system.
