FTC Tenure Begins For Republican Commissioner Wright

Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 9:00 PM EST) -- Conservative antitrust scholar Joshua D. Wright was sworn in Friday as the newest Republican commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission to replace the departing J. Thomas Rosch.

FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz formally inducted Wright into the antitrust and consumer protection agency for a term that will end in late September 2019.

"We’ll miss Commissioner Rosch, who’s been a wonderful commissioner and a strong advocate for vigorous enforcement," Leibowitz said. "We’re delighted to welcome Josh Wright, who will be terrific."
