Dell Settles With Hannstar In LCD Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 6:20 PM EST) -- Dell Inc. has reached a deal to resolve its allegations in multidistrict litigation that HannStar Display Corp. conspired with others to fix prices on liquid crystal display panels, according to a Thursday filing in California federal court.

An attorney for Dell Inc. and Dell Products LP sent a short letter to U.S. District Judge Susan Illston, saying the computer company had agreed to a settlement-in-principle with HannStar, which Dell accused of fixing LCD screen prices along with several alleged co-conspirators.
