High Court To Hear Suit Over LA Port’s Clean Truck Rules

Law360, Los Angeles (January 11, 2013, 9:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a case brought by American Trucking Associations Inc. against the city of Los Angeles over whether federal law preempted the Port of Los Angeles from imposing rules on truck maintenance and driver employment as part of its clean truck program.
