Ohio Contractor Gets 3 Years In Prison In Corruption Case

Law360, Los Angeles (January 14, 2013, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Ohio contractor was sentenced Friday to three years in federal prison – a year more than prosecutors requested – for bribing county officials in Cleveland with cash, televisions, dinners and a $1,000 date with a Las Vegas prostitute.

Ferris Kleem, the former owner of Blaze Construction Co. and other businesses, also was fined $250,000 and ordered to pay $24,000 in restitution by U.S. District Judge John R. Adams of the Northern District of Ohio,according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
