UK Court OKs Extradition Of Ex-Credit Suisse Exec

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 4:13 PM EST) -- A U.K. judge on Monday reportedly approved the extradition of a former Credit Suisse Group AG executive who allegedly helped to inflate the value of mortgage-linked bonds to mask losses in the wake of the subprime mortgage market's collapse.

Kareem Serageldin, former head of the Structured Credit Group of the Swiss bank's investment banking division, was approved for extradition at Westminster Magistrates Court, according to the The Independent, a British newspaper.
