Supreme Court Declines Duke Energy Rebate Appeal

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 2:27 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to hear Duke Energy Corp.’s bid to dismiss Ohio rate payers’ antitrust class action claiming the utility gave corporate customers a competitive advantage via illegal rebates, leaving questions about the jurisdictional reach of Ohio’s utility regulator untouched.
