Hulk Hogan Hits Surgery Clinic With $50M Negligence Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 4:46 PM EST) -- Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan on Monday slammed a Florida surgery clinic with a $50 million malpractice lawsuit accusing doctors of duping him into undergoing five ineffective operations that prolonged his severe back pain and cost him vast sums of money.

Filed under Hogan’s real name, Terry G. Bollea, the negligence complaint says Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute LLC used “scare tactics” to dissuade the Hulkster from receiving a traditional lumbar fusion at a hospital, warning him the recovery would be significantly longer and more painful....
