FERC Won't Revisit $400M Gas Pipeline Upgrade Approval

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 8:08 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission refused Friday to revisit its decision to approve a $400 million Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. LLC natural gas pipeline upgrade project in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, despite several conservation groups' environmental concerns.

According to the FERC's order refusing a motion to stay or rehear its May decision to approve the project, the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, New Jersey Highlands Coalition and the New Jersey chapter of the Sierra Club had failed to show they would be irreparably harmed by the project going...
