Japan's Advantage Partners Unloads Komeda Coffee Chain

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 1:26 PM EST) -- Japanese private equity house Advantage Partners will transfer its controlling stake in the Komeda Co. coffee chain to a Korean investment firm, MBK Partners LP, closing out speculation that the two were nearing a deal for the 483-shop operation, Komeda said Tuesday.
