Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 7:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Labor's plans to survey employees on their grasp of worker misclassification laws could signal an effort by the agency to lay the groundwork for controversial regulations aimed at enhancing transparency by requiring employers to explain classifications to their workers under the Fair Labor Standards Act, attorneys said Tuesday.
