EU Data Protection Proposals Are Too Rigid, UK Says

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 6:21 PM EST) -- The U.K. government on Monday backed a parliamentary committee's conclusion that a proposed overhaul of European Union data protection law is too restrictive, calling for a more flexible approach less than a week after the European Parliament floated changes that would further tighten the proposed regime.
