Fishermen Sue Over Calif. Oil Spill

Law360, New York (November 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A massive oil spill in the San Francisco Bay Area earlier this month has triggered a slew of legal actions by commercial fishermen who claim they have lost crucial business due to the slick.

In the latest such action, two commercial fishermen launched a proposed class action lawsuit on Tuesday in San Francisco Superior Court seeking damages on behalf of fisherman who they say have lost business because of the spill, one of the worst in the region.
