BP Blast Victims Add Fuel To Settlement Objection

Law360, New York (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Victims of an explosion at BP Plc’s Texas refinery on Friday accused BP of obtaining air pollution permits through a former Texas official who worked for the company, saying this alleged criminal behavior supports their argument that the $50 million plea bargain the company recently struck with U.S. authorities was too lenient.
