DOJ Won't Block NY Hospital Group's Doctor Incentive Plan

Law360, New York (January 16, 2013, 6:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday that it wouldn’t pursue an antitrust challenge to the Greater New York Hospital Association’s financial incentives for doctors who cut costs while maintaining quality, finding limits on payments and information sharing should prevent improper kickbacks and collaboration.
