Judge Certifies Class In Label Market MDL

Law360, New York (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- While slightly modifying the terms, a judge has granted class certification in an antitrust suit alleging that a number of companies conspired to restrain trade in the market for pressure-sensitive labelstock.

In his decision, issued Nov. 19, Judge Thomas Vanaskie of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said that the proposed class met all of the requirements for a class action, including numerosity, commonality, typicality and adequacy of representation.
