Robert Redford's Co. Sued Over Canceled Sundance Party

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 3:20 PM EST) -- A Los Angeles public relations firm claims the operators of Robert Redford's Park City, Utah, restaurant cost the firm $1.5 million when they wrongly terminated a contract for an event during the Sundance Film Festival, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Utah state court.

Hype Creative Agency Inc. says Sundance Partners Ltd. signed a contract in September 2011 to let the firm host events during the next three festivals at Zoom, a restaurant Hype calls “the most premier location” at the yearly indie film festival....
