Potential Drug Relapse Is A Disability, 1st Circ. Says

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 4:43 PM EST) -- The First Circuit on Thursday found that an insurer is obligated to provide long-term disability benefits to a doctor who claimed that her risk of addiction relapse was severe enough to constitute a continuing disability, creating a circuit split on the issue.
