Ex-Cabletron Exec Settles SEC Earnings Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 5:49 PM EST) -- Former Cabletron Systems Inc. executive Eric Jaeger has settled a long-running U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission case in New Hampshire federal court over alleged earnings inflation without paying any money or admitting wrongdoing, according to a court filing Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Steven J. McAuliffe issued a final judgment approving the settlement between the SEC and Jaeger, the company’s former vice president of corporate affairs.
