Redpoint Ventures Brings In $400M For Tech Startup Fund

Law360, San Diego (January 17, 2013, 10:20 PM EST) -- Menlo Park, Calif.-based Redpoint Ventures has raised a $400 million venture capital fund that will go toward supporting startups and early-stage entrepreneurs working on new mobile, cloud and social platforms, it said Wednesday.

The fund, known as Redpoint V, will also focus investments on next-generation entertainment technologies and delivery systems, big-data infrastructure, enterprise-class cloud services, and mobile infrastructure companies and applications, the firm said.
