Canada Sued Over Massive Student-Loan Data Breach

Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 6:21 PM EST) -- A Canadian lawyer launched a class action against the Canadian government Thursday over its loss of a hard drive that contained the personal information of employees and more than half a million student loan program participants, calling it the largest data breach in the nation's history.
