High Court Declines Asarco Appeal Of EPA Sulfur Dioxide Rule

Law360, New York (January 22, 2013, 2:42 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Tuesday to hear copper mining firm Asarco LLC's appeal of a decision upholding federal emissions standards for sulfur dioxide, solidifying the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's decision to cap concentration of the chemical at 75 parts per billion.
