Fenwick Guides Cisco's $475M Israeli Software Co. Buy

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 1:20 PM EST) -- Cisco Systems Inc. plans to pick up Intucell Ltd., a venture fund-backed Israeli software maker, for about $475 million to bolster its global cellular network capabilities and deal with rising data demands, the company announced Wednesday.

The deal for Intucell, which is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, includes both cash and retention-based incentives, and covers all of Intucell’s operations in Europe, Asia and North America, according to a statement.
