Alsol Faces $3M EPA Suit Over NJ Superfund Cleanup

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 2:45 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency brought suit in New Jersey federal court Friday seeking to recover more than $3 million from Alsol Corp. and its affiliated companies to clean up a Superfund site at a Milltown, N.J., power facility.

The EPA says defendants Alsol Corp., SB Building Associates LP, SB Building GP LLC, U.S. Land Resources LP, U.S. Realty Resources Inc. and Lawrence S. Berger, who serves as president at all the companies, must fork over their share of the cleanup costs tied to hazardous substances...
