Texas' Former Top Energy Regulator Joins Patton Boggs

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 3:40 PM EST) -- Patton Boggs LLP announced Wednesday it has landed former Texas energy regulator and state lawmaker Elizabeth Ames Jones to join its Washington, D.C., office as a senior policy adviser in the firm’s public policy, energy and natural resources practice groups.

Jones, a former chairman of the Railroad Commission of Texas, which is the state’s energy regulator for the oil and gas industry, will advise clients from a range of industry sectors on key policy issues, particularly those arising at the intersection of private industry and federal regulatory policy, the firm said.
